Sabrina & Andrew:

We were sitting here looking at this picture and a huge discussion came out of it.....
Azarie is front and center and boasts of energy are shooting through our computer screen, knowing this lil man is like that daily. Mackenzie is looking carefree and quite whimsical at the world around her as if nothing could possibly get better. Camdyn is sitting on the railroad tracks looking as if she is a bad ass staring down the camera. She looks her adorable rebellious self. You definately captured these little beings as they truly are:)

This man lights my soul on fire;

He's amazing.

He not only supports, but shares my dreams.

He has a fabulous sense of style. (JT betta watch his back.)

He's like Clark Kent when he wears his glasses.

He is amazing with children and teaches grade one.

Did I mention he lights me up?!

We're the biggest nerds.

We buy lottery tickets before road trips so we can spend the money while we drive.

We have "knock your sox off" wrestling matches. (I've never won.)

We slow dance in the living room with our dog.

I love you babe!

Kiara is Six Months Old

"Guess What?"

"What?"

"Kiara's laughing!"

"Oh yeah? What makes her laugh?"

"When I air drum, so I go home every night and air drum so she'll laugh."

It's all those firsts that make having children so amazing. Chad glowed the day he told me Kiki had laughed for the first time. In fact, Chad and Janelle glow whenever the talk about their beautiful baby girl.

Donna & Brent Got Married!

March 9, 2009 // wedding

"I'm not nervous at all, no butterflies, nothing. I'm just happy and excited because I know he's meant for me." Donna was calm, cool and collected when I arrived to her room on Saturday afternoon. In a few short hours she would marry the man of her dreams.

Brent, on the other hand, was busy. He kept himself busy making sure everything was perfect because he wanted every detail to be exactly what she'd imagined.

They balance each other perfectly.

On Saturday March Seventh Donna and Brent became husband and wife at the Elk Ridge Resort. Here's a few images from the day;

Kris & Mel are expecting!

Like a scene straight out of Desperate Housewives, minus the drama, the block is lined with men and women whose lives are intertwined. Good friends, similar in age and experience, living on the same cul de sac.

I love visiting the families in this area and have worked many times in the last year with them. So when Mel contacted me to be her maternity and newborn photographer the answer was a resounding "yes please"!

Kris and Mel, I cannot wait to meet your little one! And, for the record, my guess is a boy!

Tomorrow is Mel's birthday so go ahead and give her some love!

Stephanie and Cory are Getting Married!

March 1, 2009 // engagement

They met at the bowling alley. She arrived with a friend who was there to meet a guy.She had no idea that she was about to meet her future husband.

He calls her "lovey-dovey" in a teasing sort of way, but this is among his favorite things about her.

Cory and Stephanie met in 2005 and have been inseperable ever since. They will be married this September in St. Albert, Alberta and I am so pumped to be their wedding photographer.

I love Steph's laugh and the fact that she laughs a lot! I hope you guys decide to make it this way this summer.

Albums

I show everybody, I can't help myself. It is among my most cherished possessions. The KISS album of mine and Devins first professional photo session is what I would save if my house was on fire and my loved ones were safe. We have decided to have professional photos done at least every two years from now on. Eventually I will have an entire collection of albums that document our lives and our love.

I absolutely love designing albums. Knowing that my clients have such an amazing way to cherish their images the same way I cherish mine fills my with joy.
