There's nothing more precious than a brand new baby. This little girl was born just ten days before I met her. I had the pleasure of traveling to Saskatoon to document her arrival.

Little Leah

My very good friend Jenn and her little one stopped in today. I can't believe Jenn has a baby that's going to be a year old soon. It's amazing how not having children makes 3 years seem like a flash in the pan but going 3 weeks without seeing my nieces and nephews (by biology and by heart) feels like a long time.

No visit would be complete without a picture;

Erin & Mitchell :: Are Married

He is a self proclaimed geek and she is a classic beauty. Erin and Mitchell could not be more perfect for each other. Their love is quiet and tender. It is seen in gentle caresses and heard in softly spoken words.

They both love the outdoors and celebrated their wedding by camping with friends and family at Emma Lake.

Erin got ready and waited for her Dad to arrive at the Bear Track Cabins, Christopher Lake;

Isn't she just stunningly beautiful?!

One of my very favorite wedding moments is just after the Priest or Minister announces the couple as Husband and Wife for the first time. Look at how absolutely happy Erin and Mitchell are!

After lunch at the church we headed to the lake.

Congratulations! I hope your European honeymoon was blissful!

My Favorite Little Visitor

I could just smoosh this little cutie with hugs. She is such a smart little cookie. Every time she comes into the studio she wants to go straight to the life size print of herself where she proceeds to laugh, smile and talk up a storm.

Not even one yet and never ceases to make me feel appreciated. LOVE IT!

Marrissa :: Dancing Queen

When I was a little girl I thought I would grow up and become the Sugar Plum Fairy. I believed this for much longer than I'm willing to admit. I really had no reason to believe I couldn't, after all I had an Auntie who was a fairy. (Turns out she's a hippie, but they're still much the same in my book). From the time I can remember until puberty set in and changed everything, I ate, slept, breathed dance.

So when I met Marrissa last fall I felt an immediate connection with this swan like dancer. I could not wait to photograph her with her pointe shoes and dance attire! I finally got the chance a few weeks ago;

This is probably my favorite from the entire session;

I'll post more as soon as I dig myself out from under my "to-do" pile.

Larson Family :: on the farm

I can't say enough good things about this family. They are simply every photographers dream; beautiful inside and out, loving, playful, open to anything, have an amazing yard, love photography, and put lots of thought into what they wanted their session to be. All these things add up to an incredibly fun session and amazing images!

We have so many favorites, it was hard to choose what to blog. The details alone where phenomenal.

I just love Grant. He was laughing and being silly the entire time we were there. His nieces and nephews are crazy about him too.

In fact the children in this family have amazing relationships with all of their Aunts and Uncles. The love in this family is infectious.

I could go on and on...

Shauna & Jay :: Are getting married

You know the couple, the ones that you can picture at eighty five still kissing and teasing and loving. Shauna and Jay are one of those couples. I connected with Shauna even before we met. I knew she was my kinda gal, a kindred spirit. What I didn't realize is how much I'd like Jay. I feel like these two are a reflection of my own marriage in the best possible way.
