My blog is a big part of my business and my creative process. It really is a kind of living journal for me. It's patient and loyal, it listens and even responds with your comments. It's where I feel like I can share my ideas, my work, my creativity, my life. I can be joyful, grateful, wistful, excited and nervous. In the two and a half years I've been pursuing this amazing dream my blog has become the record of triumphs big and small and will hopefully record many more incredible adventures, not just my own, but the adventures of the people who have come into my life as a result of my work.

Nicole and Kelly exude sexuality. You can't put these two in the same room without them playfully flirting with each other and stealing kisses. Their passion for each other immeasurable. So when given the opportuntiy to photograph these two in a boudoir setting I jumped!

Please be warned that these images are definitely my sexiest to date and if overt sexuality offends you, do not proceed.

The Gift Of Sexy

I've designed several boudoir albums and cards this week and am so excited to get them delivered. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall Christmas morning. I'm as excited to hear about the receivers reaction as I am to see reaction of the gift giver the first time they lay eyes on their album. 
I can't share them all, but here is one album I can share with you;

I'm so excited it's Christmas. I'm looking forward to friends, family, rest, and great food. I'm also excited that after Christmas comes my favourite season; Valentines. Yes, it's a whole season at my house!

This was the picture that caught my eye when walking down town in search of a pro studio. and when my mother & I walked in my first question was if you did sexy photoes? I was more than excited to get started when you said 'for sure". I remember telling you that my boyfriend is getting station out of town and i wanted to give him a little something to take with him, and i tell you the whole event was more than i hoped for, i felt like a movie star for the day and evening, i just had to go out that night and showoff my new look, the both of you girls were amazing i can't wait to see my pictures. And thank you for working around my back pain it was effortless and fun. You see after my two almost fatal accidents my self esteem needed this boost and boy did i get it. Carmella & Jon :: Are Getting Married

I've known Jon for several years. We met way back in his teen years. Carmella and I had crossed paths a few times but we had never formally met. I knew they were thinking about getting married, and after really meeting Carmella at one of our favorite weddings this summer, I secretly wished that they would get married sooner rather than later and that I'd get to be their photographer.
So when Carmella contacted me late this summer, I was ecstatic. We met up in Saskatoon earlier this fall and had a great time creating some family and engagement images.
I cannot wait for next September!

Chugging Away

"I think I can, I think I can"; I keep repeating the phrase as I work to pull my business train over what feels like a giant mountain. Since opening our studio in May I have been overwhelmed by the workload I've taken on. I love that I have a job that I'm passionate about, but I think I've learned, perhaps the hard way, just how much I'm capable of. 

The good news is that I'm done with any new sessions until the New Year and that means I should be all caught up and have some time to relax and celebrate by the time Christmas arrives. I'm also pretty sure my New Years resolution will have something to do with balance and staying caught up.

My blog has been somewhat neglected and will probably remain that way until after Christmas. But for now here are a few images from a recent Mother / Daughters session. This is the first of this type of session I've done and I was doubly nervous because the Mom in this family is a photographer herself. We had a blast though and I'm sure her teenage girls are still making fun of some of the foolish things I say!

back from Mississippi to share everything I've been up to lately...
back to normal. I've been so busy and overwhelmed with the incredible success of the studio...
back to business. I'm excited for a little holiday, but excited to get back and photograph soem brand spankin' new babies!

Feeling Beautiful :: Boudoir Sessions

Well worn, cherished, a definite favorite. It's the way it smells, how soft it is against my skin. Devin's old hoodie makes me feel snuggly and maybe even a little sexy.
